Hex Key Sets
Abolox Your Source For Hex Key Sets
Hex keys, sometimes called Allen wrenches, have six sides. They fit into a bolt or screw with a six-sided hole in the head. You turn the hex key to turn the fastener – usually left to loosen it and right to tighten it. Abolox carries several types of hex key sets, including folding hex key sets, individual hex keys in a set, or on a socket. Except for socket hex keys, the keys are L-shaped with one long and one short leg. If you insert the short end into the bolt, you'll have more torque to turn the key. If you insert the long end, you'll have less torque, but the key can reach tight places. If the hex key has a ball on the end, it allows you to reach the fastener from different angles.
