Flame Resistant Vests
Abolox®- Your best source for Flame Resistant Vests
Safety vests can help protect against flash fires where temperatures can reach 35,000 degrees Fahrenheit. They’ll also protect your torso from welding sparks. Abolox carries safety vests in green or orange – both colors are highly visible, which makes these safety vests good to wear while working in certain traffic situations, such as school crossing guard jobs. FR clothing is regulated by the safety standards defined in NFPA 70E and comes as ANSI non-rated, Class 2 and Class 3.
Flame Resistant Vests for Industry Workers
Most high-visibility flame-resistant vests are rated as Class 2 or less as there is not enough reflective tape. Safety vests are for those who work in construction, traffic situations where the speed of vehicles is low, such as school crossing guard jobs, electrical, plumbing and other jobs where you might need to be visible to your co-workers.
Basic Details of Flame Resistant Vests
High-visibility FR vests are usually bright orange or green and have reflective tape so drivers and others can see you. They are made of a material that is slow to ignite, and if it does, the material does not burn long. Most flame-resistant vests are made with highly visible colors – usually orange or green. The reflective tape is usually silver. They come in many different sizes and can be sleeveless or have short sleeves.
Abolox Carries High-Visibility FR Vests for Several Industries
High-visibility flame-resistant vests are for anyone who needs a Class 2 vest or lower. School crossing guards, traffic directors moving low-speed traffic, electricians, construction workers, forestry workers and welders are just a few of the industries that benefit from high-visibility flame-resistant vests.
